Almost come true!!

The course will finish soon, now let me talk about Text Project.
In fact, I am worried about this part. The day before yesterday, we took exam about it, but I was confused about my answer. Teachers said this was 5 points as a gift. In my opinion, it is a hard 5 that each question is not easy to answer for me. Although I might understanding the contents of text book, when I faced questions I was confused, I did not know whether I could find answer or not. So I just answered them what I understood. Anyway, I am not sure. The text project is the most confusing part for me. I hope I can get a high mark about it...hehe
OK, I am enjoyed in A2. Some units in book are very interesting. I like them very much. On the other hand, there are some units I do not like and make me confused. For example, experimentation on animals, we had debate about it. I did not know how to choose which position I wanted. Maybe this is why I did not get a high mark of mid-term composition. We did our best to finish each unit, there are many tasks for each unit, sometimes, I was afraid of new units, because it meant we had to finish a lot of tasks.
Now, we finished, I hope everyone can get a high mark. As I said before, we can come true our same dream…

Fortunately, I have already finished my research project. Of course, I am happy without stress. Now, I will talk about my experience about the process of research paper and the presentation of it.
About four weeks ago, teachers asked us to choose a research topic which made me very confused, because I did not know which topic I could do the best. At first, I had to talk about my interests so that I chose FASHION, but teachers told me it was too huge to do well. I chose again to be how fashion affected people and checked a lot of information about it, this time I felt better and believed I could do it well. On the other hand, when I showed my map of research paper to teacher who said she was worried about I would not find enough information. I felt very disappointed and I did not know what I could do. Thanks again! Because of your opinions, I decided the topic was BRANDS and got a lot of main ideas when I discussed with my teachers and classmates. They helped me a lot. Then I went to library to get some books and checked the internet to get a lot of information what I needed. Finally, I used a week to read all information and chose which part I needed to use in my research paper and a week to take notes of it. Although I felt much stressed at these two weeks, even the research paper appeared in my dream, when I finished my notes I felt a little confident that I thought I could do well by myself.
It became true, because when I spent the third week on my writing of research paper. Teacher told me I did an excellent job. To make my research paper perfect, I handed on my first draft and my second draft to Adrianne. From her encouragements, I added my confidence on research paper and believed myself. During my writing, I found the references made me so confused, I did not know how to do it and how to correct it, so I asked Sherry and Adrianne to help me , then I found I learned a lot from it that is why I could teach my friends to correct their references with confidence. And I want to say I found my reading skill and organization are improved during the process as well, and taking notes is a key way to do a good research paper what I find. When I saw my research paper (like a book), I felt so proud that I would bring it to China to show my parents. Now, I feel very joyful, not only because I finished my research paper, but also I learned a lot from it. Although it was my first time to do research paper, I did well in my mind.
At last, I will talk about my presentation of research paper. When I finished my writing, teacher told I would be the first to do the presentation. OK, I started to prepare it. Take notes, finish PowerPoint ( thank Toby, it is my first time to use PowerPoint on my presentation, he taught me how to do it and helped me to finish my PowerPoint) and practice. Yesterday, I was the second student to do the presentation. Because I was so nervous that I spoke so fast at first, Adrianne stopped me, HOHO, thank you! Then I spoke slowly with confidence. I found our classmates were interested in my presentation, it gave me more confidence. Fortunately, I finished it. I think we have to be relaxed when we do the presentation, believe ourselves, we can do it, right!!!
Thanks again to Adrianne, Sherry, Toby and my classmates. Because of your help, your support, I have become more confident. I hope we all can finish it well. I like to hear “CONGRATULATION”!!!!

This sentence reminds us that we need to respect everybody, do not judge others by using a wrong view. Discrimination can not exist everywhere. Although, it is very hard to solve this problem in many countries, we have to do our best to make it disappear. No body likes to be discriminated. If you discriminate others, ask yourselves: “what do they feel?” Yes, they will feel so sad, disappointed. On the other side, like this sentence said: “Keep me from ever judging a man until I’ve walked in his moccasins.” We need to consider others’ feeling. Put yourselves in their place, if you are discriminated, how you can feel. It is a serious problem that makes us think deep.
After learning this unit, I think the discrimination is a real problem and we can not discriminate others, because everybody has same rights to be equal to others. We can not judge and treat others in bad way, just because of their eye colors, skin colors or other things. If you can not understand, you can put yourselves on their places, I think you will feel a lot and realize it is wrong to discriminate other. Do not you think so?
This sentence it right. Although we know a lot of information about the discrimination is wrong, we usually do it without any meaning. I think it is a issue that we need to debate.

Population

I am happy we finish our mid-term exam, but I also worried about the result. I had never taken this a long listening test which I can not image. Anyway, we have done it and make a wish we can do well.
Come back, this post will talk about the population react. First of all, I have to admit the growing population over the world has been a hot topic. To deal with this problem, we can hear about there are a lot of activities are done by the government in different countries. But it is still growing and produces a lot of problems, such as environmental, social, economical problems and so on. Secondly, I am pessimistic the future in terms of population. According to statistics, the world population will be over 11 billion in next 50 years. How can we survive at that time? As we know, there are so many poor countries that have not enough food for their people now, so how can they live when the population becomes more and more. Moreover, now there are so many people who are finding jobs or loss their jobs. In other words, there are not enough jobs for the huge population. These people can not get money from jobs that can not support their family or others. So the third one, I want to talk about what should be done in the industrial world and in the emerging nations in terms of population. In the industrial world, they should use the family planning program and keep balance between death rates and birth rates. And they need to provide the health services to give people certain conditions. In addition, these countries need to create more jobs for people who are seeking jobs. As well, the emerging nations need to use family planning program to control the numbers of people. Sometimes, they can get helps from some developed countries to develop their economy and support their people.

LECTURE ---LOVE

Today morning, we had a perfect lecture which was discussed about love. The speaker was very nice and his humor gave a deep impression. Actually, I like this kind of lecture, we can be involved during the lecture by the speaker. To my surprise, she almost remembered our names and asked us so many questions, and she was kind to answer what question we asked.
About love, it always makes everybody confuse. As the speaker said, we could not use any word to describe it. Love is just a kind of experience. It is true I think. From this lecture, I knew there were four types of love : Philia, Romance, Agape, Eros. Of course, I did not understand when I just saw these four words. After her explanation, we everyone have these kinds of love in our life. They may happen in different ages or different people. Actually, we all experience those. I think I will think my love of life again and hope everyone can bring true love to others and get true love from others, such as friends, parents, teachers, strangers and so on. At that time, the world will be more beautiful than now.
But I want to say something. The speaker said if we give up something when we fall in love with somebody, it is not love. Love, you have to be yourself. In my opinion, I do not agree with it sometimes. Maybe, you like to give up something because of your lover, you want to make her/he happy, right! Come on, you also get some happiness when you give up something. Sometimes, we can not control ourselves when we fall in love. Just do it, it is worth to do sometimes. We also have to learn how to protect ourselves, HOHO…
Everybody can be loved and love somebody. Because of love in the world, we can get so much happiness. Do not you think so?
